Behind the Curtain:

I'm Tanner Gleeson (He/Him/His)! I'm a New York based actor and a graduate of Wright State University's BFA Musical Theater program.

I was born and raised in Fort Mitchell Kentucky, which is about ten minutes away from Cincinnati. Most of my time as a child was spent in my mothers dance studio, where I developed a deep love and appreciation for performing arts. By the time I was ten years old, I was taking singing and dance classes and loving every moment of it. Tap became the form of dance that I would completely fall in love with on my journey. Everything about Tap dancing excited me to my core and I developed a deep passion that is still apart of me. One of my goals as an artist is to expose more people to Tap dancing so that the legacy continues. My dream would be to see tap dancing being admired and taught as much as other forms of dance.

Although Musical Theater and Tap Dancing are two of my passions, I carry other loves that make me who I am. When I am not at a rehearsal or class, you can likely find me playing video games on my PC, watching The Lord of the Rings for the 10,000th time, or jamming to the Star Wars soundtrack.
